Every day we are bombarded with toxic chemicals. We inhale it, submerge our hands in it, wear it on our bodies, and consume it. But we don't have to. We can start small and start switching things out one item at a time until we are working with chemical-free natural products. This soap recipe is a dry soap you can safely use in your front loader. (I do have another recipe for liquid soap but it's not my favorite nor does it work as well)
Equal parts of:
Washing soda
Borax
Mix well in a bucket and then use 1/8-1/4 cup per load. If your clothes are super dirty let them soak for 30 minutes if there is still an order rinse with white vinegar. We also use vinegar as our fabric softener.
